Private Jet Charter Falcon 50 Interior

When Dassault Aviation set out to make a new edition of their popular Falcon fleet, they had a short list of what the new craft should accomplish. It should be capable of making nonstop intercontinental flights, it should only need a short takeoff distance and it should have a roomy cabin.  The result is the Falcon 50, an eight passenger private jet that can cross the county for 3,020 miles at a speed of .80 Mach. It’s great when a plan can come together!

To give you a sense of the size of the Falcon 50 cabin consider that the typical layout is for eight flyers, but technically it can hold up to nineteen passengers. The measurements read as 5.9 feet high, 23.5 feet long and 6.1 feet wide which adds up to total cabin volume of 700 cubic feet.

In order to fly far and fly fast, the Falcon 50 optimizes a tri-jet configuration, specifically three Honeywell TFE731-3-1C turbofan engines. Each one of those engines powers up to 3,700 pounds of thrust on takeoff. The total fuel capacity is 15,520 pounds. That’s enough to stay in the air for seven hours. For takeoff, the Falcon 50 only needs 4,700 feet at sea level. This Falcon can hit 39,000 feet in thirty minutes. Once it tops out at 43,000 feet, the craft settles into cruising speeds of 410 knots.

When it comes to avionics systems, the Falcon 50 is leading there the charge there as well. The cockpit incorporates an ADC 80 air data computer, a Primus color weather radar, a Collins FCS-80F autopilot computer, and a dual VHF comm. This is the exact kind of system that pilots give an enthusiastic thumbs up to.
