When you combine Chicago’s brutal winter weather and O’Hare’s 2018 rank as the busiest airport in the U.S., you end up with weather delays that rapidly undermine on-time take-offs and departures.
To avoid the delays for which O’Hare is notorious, our charters mostly operate from Chicago Midway (MDW). Although Midway is subject to the same weather conditions and is a commercial airport, it has significantly less passenger traffic than O’Hare making it far easier to facilitate on-time departures. Another option if you are waylaid at O’Hare is to head north to Chicago Executive (PWK). Handling only private flights, this airport has the best chance of on-time departures and is equipped with all the necessary facilities for operating during adverse conditions.
