Very Light Jets / VLJ

Similar in size to smaller turboprop planes,Very Light Jets, or VLJs have low operating and charter costs and are a convenient option for small groups looking to fly private.  There are currently only three Very Light Jet models available for charter flights, making them the smallest category of private jets available. Formerly referred to as microjets, these private aircraft typically provide comfortable seating for up to four passengers and are cleared for single pilot operation.

One advantage to booking a very light jet for your next charter flight is that these planes have the ability to take off and land on runways that are short, sometimes just 3,000 feet.  VLJ’s are also perfect for shorter distance air travel, with the typical flight range in this category of up to 1,750 nautical miles.

ElJet can quote all Very Light Jet models currently on the market, from the Citation Mustang, Phenom 100 and the Eclipse 500.
